Truth be told, I have not had fun in my university life. I have been a girl, who prefers being alone while reading books at home and daydreaming to doing social activities in a certain group. One boring day, I was just surfing the net and discovered one AD marked: KT&G AD challenge! I felt my heart started beating faster upon spotting the very banner on a computer screen.

I started to put want ads to form a team. Fortunately, after a week, I got three members who had a strong enthusiasm for the same goal. We, all the team members clung together and worked day and night to create a novel advertisement. Looking back upon the days, I truly loved to work with other people for the first time in my life.

We couldn’t be awarded a prize because it was the first challenge for all of us who were only greenhorns. However, we were not disappointed at all at the result for our doing best. After that experience, I got motivated to take part in various AD contests and marketing competitions such as Cheil Communication AD contest, Swatch design competition, Haustory marketing award, Airport AD contest, and so on.

In some contests, I won a small prize, and in others, I couldn’t. But it was not important whether I got a prize or not. The most important and valuable thing that I acquired was a ‘small map’ for my life. Now the map tells me every morning who I am, what I am living for and how to live.

I’m not a girl who wants to get out of a society anymore. And also I’m not a girl who has no passion and no dream anymore. Do you feel your life is so ordinary and boring that you cannot find any interest in it? Then, challenge AD contest! You may find something worthwhile there.
