CNU Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital newly equipped with a 24-hour Emergency Medical Center

The CNU Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital held an opening ceremony for its new 24-Hour Emergency Medical Center on the third floor of Park Nam Yong Hall on May 7. Previously, the hospital operated only on weekdays during daytime hours under an appointment-based system, which made it difficult to effectively respond to emergencies occurring at night or on holidays. The hospital is now fully equipped with emergency and critical care rooms, staffed by a dedicated emergency medical team. At the ceremony, the hospital director, Lee Bong-ju (Professor, Dept. of Veterinary Medicine) said, “The opening of the 24-hour emergency medical center marks the beginning of a reliable emergency care service that the local community can trust. We will do our best to make the hospital a trusted and dependable place for local pet guardians by continuously improving our medical services.” The center is expected to serve as a valuable educational environment where veterinary students and residents can gain hands-on experience in emergency care.
