It’s wonderful that a number of titles which describe me is increasing. I’ve got several titles in my university life, and among them, the title “CNU’s Student Ambassador” has been the best one for me. As Student Ambassador Program is administrated by the Office of Planning and Cooperation, student ambassadors are selected among applicants according to their language abilities, academic records and so on.

Unlike the members of students’ self-governing bodies, we do a variety of activities to build up a positive image of CNU both on and off campus. We often receive visitors - high school students, foreign students studying a Korean language in Korea and celebrities from other countries, and give them a campus tour.

We also assist CNU with hosting important events. Through these activities to improve our university image and promote CNU pride, we form a close relationship with university officers and are recognized for our good service to the university, which are very valuable experiences other student couldn’t generally have.

I have well performed my duty as a student ambassador in English support part. I have met great people from a variety of fields and learned valuable lesson from through the student ambassador activities, and I feel I have become mature than before.

Among the programs that I participated in, especially Korean Camp was very impressive: Student ambassadors and 9 Korean-Americans residing in the U.S. had the camp in CNU for two weeks last summer.

As if they still live in my memory, probably I will live in their memories about their home country. Every single experience and encounter in my 20’s is very precious, but this camp would definitely be one of the most memorable moments of my whole life.
