Chonnam National University’s Graduate School and R&BD Foundation hosted the 2025 Yongbong Academic Festival from November 4 to 6 at Minjumaru and Yongji Hall. This event provided an opportunity for graduate students and early-career researchers to share their research findings and exchange ideas. This year’s Yongbong Academic Festival featured more than 30 programs across various fields, including a startup festival, hands-on and cultural lectures, performance exhibitions and the G-Fair. It served as a convergence festival that expands the CNU’s research outcomes into industry, technology and culture. Researchers, business professionals, students and citizens participated in this event.
Kim Sang-min (Freshman, School of Polymer Science and Engineering), one of the participants in this event, said, “Through the Yongbong Academic Festival, I could broaden my perspective by experiencing academic activities in various fields. It was a meaningful time that allowed me to take a step forward toward becoming a convergent talent.”
