Chonnam National University (CNU) hosted the 2025 JOB FESTA on October 30 at 5·18 Square. It is a large-scale job fair where young people, including CNU students, could meet recruiters and employees from major corporations and public organizations. Many booths offered mentoring, employment information, consultation, and on-site interviews for students. Nam Yun-mi (Senior, Dept. of French Language and Literature) said, “It was really hard to find job-related information on my own, but through this fair, I was able to hear various stories and advice from people currently working in the field, which helped me figure out which direction to take in preparing for the job market. At the opening ceremony of the JOB FESTA, CNU President Lee Keun-bae said, “We will foster a virtuous-cycle ecosystem that cultivates the talented students who can help revitalize local industries and businesses.”
