Around 50 international students had opportunities to familiarize themselves with the campus environment through campus tours and challenge activities at the “Hello CNU!” exchange event held on March 28 at the Yeosu Campus’s Global Lounge. Organized by the Global Education Center, the event aimed to help international students transition smoothly into university life. In addition to orientation activities, attendees built valuable connections and formed new friendships through a variety of engaging games and interactive sessions.
Both international and Korean students enthusiastically participated in mini-games and exchange activities, communicating in multiple languages and experiencing authentic multilingual interactions. The event also provided a meaningful cultural exchange, broadening their perspectives and fostering deeper mutual understanding. GEC Director Cho Won-il (Professor, Dept. of Chinese Studies) said, “We have plans to develop and operate more programs to help both international and Korean students better understand one another and ultimately enhance their global competencies.”
