CNU held its 2024 Spring Commencement Ceremony at the university auditorium, Minjumaru, on Feb. 26. A total of 4,312 graduates were awarded their degrees, including 3,288 bachelor’s, 836 master’s, and 188 doctoral degrees. CNU President Lee Keun-bae congratulated those being awarded, sharing, “I wish all the graduates a happy future and great results.” The General Student Council participated extensively, creating personalized award certificates for the graduates and installing photo booths around Bongji Field. Graduating students took commemorative photos all over the campus, holding flowers and their diplomas along with their loved ones. One of the graduates, Ryu Hyun (Bachelor, Dept. of Civil Engineering) said, “Despite attending school for four years, I could not fully experience school life due to COVID-19. But I am very excited to graduate now, surrounded by so many people. I am glad I was still able to make many wonderful memories at CNU.”
