Professor Lee Keun-bae has been appointed as the 22nd President of Chonnam National University. He will begin his four-year term on Feb. 26. Following the recommendation process by the Ministry of Education, he was officially appointed by the Acting President of the Republic of Korea. The appointment came approximately five months after the presidential election held on Sept. 25, 2024.
