The Office of International Affairs (OIA) held the opening ceremony for the "Oman Gihaeng" Program at the Career Lecture Room in the Library Annex on Dec. 2. Including CNU President Jung Sungtaek, the program participants and OIA staff members attended the ceremony to celebrate the launch of the program. Oman Gihaeng marks the fourth installment of the program since last summer. It is a short-term outbound program that the university provides for students who have never been overseas for at least 10 years. Park Su-min (Freshman, Dept. of Wood Science and Engineering) shared her experience at the ceremony. “I applied for this program in the first semester but was not selected. However, I did not want to miss the chance to go abroad with financial support, so I tried again.” Expressing her excitement, she added, “This is my first overseas trip. I am looking forward to visiting Hong Kong.”
