What tourist activity would you recommend in Brunei?
You may enjoy kayaking, rowing along our waters. Also, you can go nightwalking, which involves trekking in the jungle with an experienced guide to get a good look at wild animals. You can also drive an ATV and enjoy the Skywalk. In the city, you can take a boat ride for just 50¢ at Kampong Ayer and enjoy a lively view of the water village.
How can tourists experience local life in Brunei?
First, visit the market, feel its lively atmosphere and eat Bruneian food. You can taste wajid (a sweet, coconut rice cake), durian, and kueh (traditional snacks). Second, participate in Bandarku Ceria (“My Cheerful City”), a festive time from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Sundays. You may even see the king riding a bicycle with his people! Lastly, if you’re in Brunei on a Friday afternoon, you can have a unique experience. All of the shops will be closed, and there will be no cars on the road as men are at the mosques to pray.
How can tourists experience Brunei’s fauna?
Brunei is truly eco-friendly and biologically diverse. There are a lot of unique species living in Brunei, including several species of bird and fish. The long-nosed monkey is famous, and you can see hornbill birds everywhere, including your backyard. But you may also see some crocodiles crawling around back there, so take care!
