The CNU Library is hosting a special exhibition about 2024 Nobel Prize in Literature winner Han Kang on the third floor of Jeongbomaru from Oct. 15 to Dec. 13. The exhibition aims to celebrate her Nobel Prize award, featuring 16 of her works to date, including “Human Acts,” “We Do Not Part,” and “The Vegetarian.” The exhibition is divided into two sections: one offering a glimpse into her life and awards, and another showcasing impactful quotes from her books. Visitors can write congratulatory messages or share favorite lines from the author’s works. Yun Su-jeong (Sophomore, Dept. of Chinese Language and Literature) said, “Thanks to this exhibition, I was able to explore some of her lesser-known works. I was even inspired to pick up and read one of her books, even though I had never been interested in reading before.” The Swedish Academy highly regarded her works for capturing the pain of events that occurred in modern Korean history.
