CNU held its 2023 Fall Commencement Ceremony at the University Auditorium, Minjumaru, on Aug. 26. A total of 1,667 graduates were awarded their degrees, including 1,058 bachelor's, 483 master's, and 126 doctoral degrees. CNU President Jung Sungtaek gave a congratulatory message at the ceremony and emphasized, “Continue at your own pace; go on steadily. It is the easiest and only way to achieve your dream.” The General Student Council participated extensively, creating personalized certificates of award for the graduates and installing photo booths around Bongji field. Graduates took commemorative photos all over the campus, especially around Bongji and Minjumaru, holding flowers and their diplomas along with their loved ones. One of the graduates, Kim Yeon-woo (Graduate, Dept. of German Language & Literature), said, “Looking back at what I did as a university student, countless unforgettable memories are behind me. I am sincerely thankful to everyone I came into contact and made memories with during my university life.”
