“Agami” by Gu Byeong-mo, left, and “Momo” by Michael Ende

Han Seung-hwan: The novel “Agami (The Boy with Gills)” is about Gon, who can only breathe underwater due to the gills on his body. Gon lives isolated, trying his best to keep his gills a secret because being different is not easily welcomed in modern society. I recommend this book to all the people who have ever felt socially unaccepted just because of their differences.

Kim Young-ji: “Momo” is a fantasy novel that introduces the idea of saving time in a bank. As people become obsessed with the notion of saving time, they become increasingly exhausted and drained. The story follows Momo as she confronts 'The Grey Gentleman,' who are behind this crisis. Though the book is lengthy, reading it to the end will leave readers with a profound and lasting impression.

Song Su-min: Gilseong Yubu (Fried Tofu) is a place you can enjoy typical Korean snack food. Various flavors of fried tofu sushi are representative dishes, and most customers have those with ramyeon (Korean instant noodles) and deep-fried pork.

Jung Da-gyo: Hannam Oriental Roast Chicken is my favorite matzip near campus. Roasted chicken with cold draft beer is the perfect combination for a hot summer day. Plus, they always stay tuned for a live baseball game. If you are a baseball fan, make sure to visit during a game!
