On June 22, Chonnam National University hosted a community day dedicated to the health and well-being of international students. This effort, which was heavily advertised in the international student group chat, was a ray of hope for many people who found navigating the healthcare system in a strange country difficult. Students of different nationalities congregated in lecture rooms located on the 2nd floor of the G&R Hub, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. The event promised free health tests, and it delivered in every way. The morning began with a welcome team of volunteers and medical personnel, all of whom spoke English fluently, allowing students to communicate seamlessly.

Complete Health Screenings
The variety of medical treatments accessible on June 22 was amazing. Students might consult with specialists in internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, family medicine, otolaryngology, dentistry, physical therapy, ophthalmology, and dermatology. Each session was carried out with professionalism and care, ensuring that students got complete tests and suitable guidance.

A Quick and Efficient Process
The event was known for its efficiency. Despite a vast number of people, the procedure moved quickly. From registration to consultation, everything went well with minimal wait times. Students with hectic academic schedules especially appreciated this promptness.

Psychological Support
The second part of the initiative took place on June 29, focusing on psychological consultations and mental health services. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by international students, from academic stress to homesickness, the university has ensured that mental health professionals will be available to provide support and guidance.

Community and Support
The day was more than simply a health check; it was a celebration of community and mutual aid. Students socialized, discussed their experiences, and gave each other advise. The participation of the Bridge Medical NGO emphasized the event's dedication to providing accessible healthcare, with professional volunteers devoted to meeting the students' needs. As the day came to a conclusion, it was evident that the project was a huge success. Students departed with not just a greater awareness of their health, but also a sense of belonging and support from their campus community. Chonnam National campus's health screening event demonstrates the institution's devotion to its foreign students, assuring their health, happiness, and integration into campus life.
