The Institute of Honam Studies at Chonnam National University hosted an academic conference related to "Emotion-Humanities" at Storium on Friday, May 24. At the conference, Kim Ye-ran (Professor, School of Media and Communications, Gwang-woon University) presented "The Power, Movement, and Labor of Affect," as the first speaker of session 2. She interpreted the concept of Heidegger's regardfulness in terms of affect and introduced experimental research cases of individual ethics and societal politicality. After her presentation, Professor Kim held a discussion session with Jeong Myoung-jung (Professor, the Institute of Honam Studies).
