A group of international students enrolled at CNU had an opportunity to experience natural scenery and local culture in Gochang County on April 28. The Office of International Affairs held the 2024 Spring Culture Experience program with the Chonnam International Student Supporters. During the one-day trip, they visited attractions in the county, including “Gochangeupseong” (Gochang Fortress) and the Gochang Green Barley Field, and had a joyful time through a small group photo contest. Rashidov Kamronbek (Senior, Faculty of Business Administration, Uzbekistan) said, “The green barley field was more incredible than I expected. I've always been interested in Korean history, so this program was icing on the cake.” Yesildaglar Melahat Ilayda (Junior, Dept. of Korean Language and Literature, Turkiye) said, "My favorite part of the Gochang trip was seeing Korean traditional construction called ‘hanok,’ which I always admire, with nature. The experience of feeling culture and history was so special to me."
