If You Had a Chance to Meet a Celebrity,

1.      Who would you like to meet and

2.      What would you like to say as a New Year’s greeting?

Kim Cheol, senior, Dept. of Forestry

  1. I’d like to meet CNU President Kang Jung-chae.

2. I guess that you must have been busy with your business as President. I actually heard that you’d taken great pains over a lot of business to attend to last year. I hope that you keep exerting yourself for Yongbongians this year. I hope that your name will never fade out from Yongbongians’ memory.

Jung Mi-jung, senior, Dept. of Home Economics Education

  1. I want to meet Lee Ki-jun who was appointed Education Minister.

  2. I am going to take the National Teachers’ Appointment Examination soon. I hope that you systematically reorganize the training program for professional teachers. Also, I wish that you would hold a social meeting for teachers to share their experiences and improve their teaching strategies. Please remember that people call for higher levels of government commitment to bettering the education system.

Oh Jun-jong, freshman, Dept. of Social Education

  1. I hope to meet President Roh Moo-hyun.

  2. Last year, I was sorry that you suffered from impeachment. I want you to remain as a man of strong conviction during your remaining presidency and to carry out drastic reforms in the national system. One more thing, I wish that you always have total commitment to your original intention.

Ha Hun-jong, sophomore, Dept. of Business Administration

  1. I wish to see Son Jung-ui, CEO of Softbank.

  2. I’ve read all the books you wrote. While reading the books, I was full of admiration for your passion toward the Internet. I know that you’re now having a hard time due to a slump in stocks. I hope that you will restore confidence and put forth every effort to come back. Remember the proverb, ‘Sweet after bitter.’

Choi Han-na, junior, Dept. of Korean Literature and Language

  1. I hope to meet Buddhist priest Beob-jeong who wrote the book No Possession.

  2. I was impressed to read No Possession. I wish to hear about a life of no possessions. I hope you are in good health and that you remain pure in heart. Also, I want you to write another book like No Possession soon.

Noh Young-suk, freshman, Dept. of Electrical Engineering

  1. Greeting the New Year, I hope to meet Kang Min.

  2. I like how you use original tactics well in Star Craft (one of the PC games). You achieved excellent records in the Star Craft Game League last year, but you have hit a slump since the latter half of last year. I firmly believe that you will gain confidence and come out of this slump.

Cho Su-jin, senior, Dept. of Communication

  1. I wish to meet the TV news reporter, Shin Kang-kyun.

  2. I enjoy watching your news show ‘Sa-Shil-Eun’ on TV, which is an MBC in-depth news show dealing with current issues. As a person who wants to be a journalist like you, I am so disappointed to find out that you’re suspected of taking bribes. I wish that not only MBC but also other TV channels wouldn’t be involved in taking bribes. The communications business should reflect and lead public opinion in every case. Keeping your important role-model position in mind, I really hope that you will be reborn as the example of an honest journalist.
