I read four of the Tribune’s articles related to academia: “Artistic Engagement Empowers Students,” “CNU Needs to Enhance the Efficiency and Fairness of Its Course Registration System,” “Uncovering the Secrets of the Mind Through the Brain,” and “Reforming the Higher Education System.” All four succeeded in highlighting both opportunities and challenges within education. The first article effectively demonstrated how art and club activities nurture creativity and ingenuity. The course registration article raised valid concerns about fairness but lacked supporting data beyond student complaints. The psychology interview offered meaningful insights into memory and stress, though it could have had a greater impact by connecting these concepts to students’ daily struggles rather than focusing solely on theoretical data. Lastly, the faculty column convincingly criticized structural problems in higher education, though it offered few practical solutions for real-world implementation.
