An orientation for foreign exchange students took place at Yongbong Hall on August 29.

Foreign exchange students for the second semester of 2025 began their studies with an orientation held at Yongbong Hall on Aug. 29. A total of 144 international students from 69 universities in 24 countries attended the orientation program, organized by the Office of International Affairs. During the session, they received information about the university and essential guidance for living in Gwangju. Frederick Fischer (Master’s Student, Faculty of Business Administration, Germany) said, “I would like to travel throughout the country and get more in touch with the culture. I hope to learn more about AI in medical image recognition at CNU.” Dean of External Relations Cho Jin-hyoung said in his welcome speech, “Gwangju is a city that symbolizes democracy, peace, and human rights. I hope your time becomes an opportunity to develop into global citizens and for personal growth beyond just academic achievement. CNU will do its utmost to support you so that you can have a rewarding experience.”
