CNU Completes 2025 International Summer School
Chonnam National University (CNU) successfully concluded the 2025 International Summer School (ISS) on July 25. Participants who completed the four-week ISS program gathered at Cosmos Hall in the College of Engineering 4 building. Domestic students and international students received their certificates proving their participation in the 2025 ISS. Various events like awards for outstanding students and groups, the reflection speeches of professors and students, watching the recap video of the program, and talent shows were also held during the farewell ceremony. Participants even took pictures at the photo wall at the entrance to mark the farewell.
Students who had received an award took to the stage to briefly share their thoughts, mostly expressing gratitude to their group members. One of the best team award winners, Ki Do-yeon (Freshman, Faculty of Business Administration) said, “I got really close to my teammates during such a short period. Although it was challenging, I consider it an incredibly valuable experience.” Ambre Naveau, one of the international students, said, “The farewell ceremony made the goodbyes feel real. I’ll miss my roommate and my first dorm experience. I’m especially grateful to my teammates from diverse countries and cultures.
