CNU Students Pass Resolution for President Yoon's Resignation

The General Student Council (GSC) held a student assembly at Minjumaru on Dec. 12 to discuss the resolution for the resignation of  President Yoon Suk-yeol following his declaration of martial law. According to Chonnam National University's student council rules, it is possible to hold the event if more than 1,426 students attend, one-tenth of the total number of students. The voting began by filling the quorum in about four and a half hours. Yoon's resignation resolution was approved with 1,467 votes, five against it, and 28 abstentions out of 1,500 total votes cast.
