CNU Hosts Its Annual Festival ‘Yongbong Daedongpuri’

CNU hosted its annual “Yongbong Daedongpuri” from Nov. 5 to 7, and this year’s theme was “Jeondae Mimun” (The Beauty of CNU). The festival started off with an opening ceremony featuring a speech by President Jung Sungtaek on the main stage on Sports Ground 1. The three-day event featured a variety of performances by student clubs and renowned artists, as well as the 2024 CUB University Song Festival. Students displayed enthusiasm and energy, engaging with the artists and creating a lively atmosphere. The festival also provided entertainment and activities for daytime visitors, with opportunities for students to participate in competitive events, promotional booths, and local vendor booths. Food trucks were available, offering an assortment of delicious refreshments. Kim Ji-su (Freshman, Dept. of Chinese Language and Literature) said, “The performances, fireworks, and all the delicious food made the festival so enjoyable. It felt like a page from our youth.”
