The CNU Institute of Honam Studies organized "The Humanities on Movie Street" during the 2023 Chungjang Festival from October 6 to 8. As part of the program, a film-mediated chat session, "Please Read This Movie," was held at the Chungjang 22, a cultural platform for local residents located in Dong-gu, Gwangju, on October 6. Various panels, including professors, movie directors, and youth filmmakers, shared their lives and movies with audiences. Participants asked questions about movies, such as the meanings of movie scenes, the filmmaking process, the development of local movies, and other things. They gave their own opinions on the movies. Yun Ji-uk (Freshman, School of Artificial Intelligence) said, "It was good that we communicated with movie makers and other movie watchers." Choe Hye-gyeong (HK Research Professor) said, "We planned this program to apply academic research directly to our lives. We chose the movie as a medium because the movie is one of the most popular cultures among the public.
