Films about Sewol Ferry Disaster

   I heard that there were concerns about the recently released commercial films about the Sewol ferry tragedy, and ”Jo Pil-Ho: The Drawing Rage” has had a negative response from some audiences. However, I think making a movie dealing with a disaster like the Sewol does not really matter as long as the movie did not include scenes mocking the disaster. We need to remember the disaster so that it does not happen again. Movies are one of perfect ways that remind us about tragedies like the Sewol and recalling memories of them, recalling the disaster may bring suffering to the bereaved families, but it is important to prevent the same tragedy from occurring again.
